PMAs this week!

PMA Testing will take place this Tuesday and Wednesday. Students in 8th Grade Science, 7th Grade Civics, Algebra, and Geometry will be testing and will follow a modified bell schedule on testing days. PMAs (Progress Monitoring Assessments) are district-created tests designed to check how well students are learning state standards throughout the school year. Teachers and school leaders use the results to identify areas where students may need additional support or remediation before taking their final state exams. We encourage students to get a good night's sleep, eat breakfast, and arrive at school on time and ready to do their best!

STEM/Robotics Club

Interested in flying a drone or building a clawbot? Join the STEM/Robotics Club! The club will meet Tuesdays after school in Room 624. Please see Mr. Seepersad in Room 417 for more information.

Student Athletes- Get Your Physical!

Any student interested in trying out for a winter sport must have a completed and current sports physical on file before participating in tryouts. Physicals are required for all OCPS student-athletes and are valid for one calendar year. Families can access the required OCPS athletic physical forms and information at ocpsathletics.net.

Meet Our Math Department

The Math Department is off to a fantastic start this school year! Students are actively building problem-solving skills, strengthening number sense, and exploring real-world applications of mathematics.

YMCA Afterschool Program & Bus Registration

YMCA Afterschool Program buses are scheduled to begin in October. If you have not already registered for the YMCA program, please stop by the front office to pick up a registration flyer. Once registered for the YMCA program, Ms. Charles will send a YMCA bus registration link to the email address on file. Please note that students must be registered for the YMCA bus in order to ride the bus home after the program ends at 6:00 p.m. Students who are not registered for the YMCA bus will not be permitted to ride. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Charles after school. We look forward to providing this opportunity for our Ospreys!
