There are a lot of moving parts to state and district testing this year, but we hope this page will make it easy to know when and where your student will be testing.  Per the Florida Department of Education and Gov. DeSantis, all Florida students must complete the following test administrations on campus, in person.  For more information on state testing policies, please visit the
FLDOE testing website.  For more information on district testing policies, please visit the  OCPS testing website  and OCPS 2021 Spring Testing FAQ Page. Please check this website often for Chain of Lakes Middle School testing updates and announcements.

Our school will follow the COVID-19 Health and Safety Procedures during testing. As a reminder, students should stay home if sick, someone in the home is sick, or if he/she has recently had close contact with a person with COVID-19.

Please read the following testing information carefully, paying close attention to testing days and times for our face-to-face students versus our LaunchED students.

Important Information for [email protected] (including OCVS, FLVS, & Homeschool) Families:

  • LaunchED students must wear a face mask while on campus for testing.
  • LaunchED students will test separately from Face-to-Face students.

  • In preparation for testing days, we are collecting a list of [email protected] students that are eligible for bus service (resides more than 2-miles from the school) and will absolutely need transportation.
  • If your child is a [email protected] student, and needs transportation to school for Spring testing, please let us know by completing the testing transportation request form as soon as possible, but no later than April 9th
    • DUE DATES:
      • April Testing - Transportation requests due by MARCH 26th.
